Congratulations to the South Africa Climate Change Response Green Stand Award winners!

On the evening of the opening day of the South Africa Climate Change Response Expo (Monday 28 November 2011) exhibitors were invited to an exclusive cocktail function that included an award ceremony for the best green stand.

The Green Stand Awards were created to recognise the exhibitors that best incorporated sustainable principles into the design and manufacture of their stand. Winners were announced in eight different categories:

1. Best Small Green Stand Award
   World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
    
2. Best Medium Green Stand Award
   Department of Environmental Affairs: Biodiversity and Conservation
    
3. Highly Commended Medium Green Stand Award
   Standard Bank
    
4. Best Large Green Stand Award
   Department of Arts and Culture
    
5. Highly Commended Large Green Stand Award
   European Union
    
6. Best Outdoor Green Stand Award
   Climate Smart Cape Town
    
7. Highly Commended Outdoor Green Stand Award
   South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI)
    
8. Best Overall Green Stand Award
   Climate Smart Cape Town
